Who is eligible for counseling?
Hearts & Crafts Counseling welcomes children, teens, and adults who may be affected by loss. Divorce, separation, illness, abuse, and death represent the majority of the issues we specialize in.
What counseling services do you offer?
Hearts & Crafts offers a variety of programs including Individual and Family counseling, Children's support groups, as well as Parent/Adult groups.
What other kinds of programs do you offer?
In addition to our traditional counseling services, Hearts & Crafts Counseling offers many special events throughout the year including a teen camp, potluck dinners, holiday programs, an adult retreat, and our famous Camp Grief Busters
Who are your Counselors?
Laura Hudson is a Registered Art therapist with degrees in Art Therapy, Psychology, and Education. A former Elementary School teacher, Laura has taught and lectured in school, hospital, and conference settings. In addition to the innovative tools she has developed for her children's counseling sessions, she is planning on writing an interactive art therapy book for grieving children. Terry DeBrule is a Licensed Social Worker with degrees in Social Work, Sociology, and Psychology. Terry has worked in a variety of settings, helping individuals and families, including probation and parole, drugs, alcohol, hospitals, and family service agencies.
