Did you know that the singer PINK wrote a song about living through Divorce? Listen to it- it's called "Family Portrait" and it's on her CD titled "Missundaztood".

Here is a great book for girls recommended by Rose O'Donnell that's about a 6th grader in need of someone to talk to about growing up. It's called "Are You There Yet God? It's Me, Margaret" and it's written by Judy Blume. A great resource for questions you may have about growing up and changing into an adult, especially if you can't speak to someone in your family. Check it out!

    What Should I Do If....
What should you do if a bully bugs you? Allan L. Beane, Director of the Center for School Saftety at Murray State University in Kentucky, gives these tips:
  • Tell a parent, a teacher or an adult friend. This is not tattling.
  • If the bullying happended at school, have a parent discuss it with your teacher, not the bully's parents.
  • Don't be an easy target, but don't fight back. Look the bully in the eye and walk away.
  • The bully wants to hurt your feelings. Act as if it's not working.
  • Stand up for other kids who are being bullied and ask them to stand up for you.

    Remember:
